The Japanese Automakers are far ahead of their US counterparts at General Motors and Ford. In fact Daimler Chrysler is as well.   Japanese are quickly advancing android style robots, which look like you or I, they come in male or female, clothed or nude, Blonde or Brunette and red headed ones too. They can walk, run or even kick a soccer ball and teach school kids the game of soccer. They have robots, which do surgeries, operate trolley cars or even guard a bank at night.   The United States is falling behind and the rest of the world including the consumers of robotic androids is picking up their pace in desires for these new robots in more ways than one. You can buy a robotic dog that will guard you house, go get the newspaper and even bark at strangers, but not friends? Sounds good right? Well ...

Well, think of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. People want to maintain self preservation, so you will find the greatest technological money flows in those things, which protect the sanctity of life; things such as Health Care and Medical advances, security and military. People also wish respect from their fellow man.
